Long service recognition for Ingleby Barwick health club colleagues
Four employees at the Bannatyne Health Club and Spa Ingleby Barwick have been recognised for their long-service.
The colleagues have worked at Duncan Bannatyne’s very first health club for between 20 and 25 years.
Michelle Kell, who is fitness manager at the Ingleby Barwick health club and regional fitness co-ordinator for the North East was the first fitness advisor the business employed and has been at the Tees Valley club for the last 25 years, progressing her career to her present role. In addition to teaching classes at the health club she travels throughout the North East supporting fitness teams and delivering training.
Pauline Herman, reception manager, Jacqueline Weatherhead, member care assistant and administrator Susan Boothby were also acknowledged for their loyalty. All four received certificates and hampers as a thank you.
Also celebrating is North East regional manager Sue Stockdale. Sue started her Bannatyne career as receptionist at Ingleby Barwick and has developed through the ranks, including managing the Darlington, Coulby Newham and Chester-le-Street health clubs. She is now responsible for six health clubs and two hotels.
Duncan Bannatyne, chairman and chief executive of The Bannatyne Group said: “All four colleagues are a credit to the company.
“Their commitment to the business is fantastic and they fully deserve this recognition. Michelle and Sue started this health club journey with me at the first club I opened and it’s fantastic they are still with me.”
