Award-winning pizza restaurant expands with two new venues in west London
Crust Bros, will be opening its fourth site in BOXPARK Shoreditch on April 11 2023, followed by a fifth site at The Prince in West Brompton on April 21 2023.
The concession will launch following the success of the Crust Bros opening in Croydon’s BOXPARK in November 2022 and long-standing Waterloo location. Known best for its Neapolitan style pizzas with “soft pillow-like” crusts and a variety of fresh toppings, Crust Bros has become “renowned” around London for its leopard print crusts.
The menu at Shoreditch will offer the “best of the best” pizzas. From the classic Margherita, to a few “bold” options for those wanting to stray from a classic, including Seven Nation Salami: tomato base, topped with mozzarella, parmesan, salami napoli.
The Romagnolo is a white base pizza topped with mozzarella, parmesan, mushrooms and truffle oil; this pizza also is available as a vegan version, alongside other plant-based options. In addition to the pizza, there are three options of dips: truffle mayo, garlic mayo or a spicy mayo.
Founder of Crust Bros, Joe Moore, first thought up the concept in 2014 after becoming “obsessed” with the Italian methods of pizza making. Following a six-week tour of Italy, self-proclaimed “dough geek” Joe began the Crust Bros journey selling pizza at London’s street food markets, including Street Feast.
Following a stint at a shipping container on the Southbank, and London’s best breweries including Camden Town, Fourpure and Beavertown, the first bricks and mortar Crust Bros site opened in Waterloo in 2017 to much acclaim.
Since then, Crust Bros has won gold at the National Pizza Awards, Salvo 1968 European Pizza Competition and the Pizza and Pasta Awards. The Executive Chef, Davide Parato, is the reigning National Pizza Awards ‘Pizza Chef of the Year’.
In 2021, Joe and the Crust Bros team launched the ‘1 pizza sold = 1 tree planted’ promise, ensuring that alongside serving excellent pizza, the restaurants give back to the planet at no expense to their customers.
In partnership with Earthly, Crust Bros has planted over 146,000 trees, meaning roughly 216 tonnes of carbon being removed from the atmosphere.
