Build begins on the new East London Access Creative College campus
Today, Access Creative College has announced the build for their latest campus in the culturally historic London East End has officially begun. Spanning across 19,000 sq. ft on London’s Commercial Road, the site will be a creative hub for gaming, esports, music, media and computing with offerings for 16-18-year-olds and also 19+ via Access to Higher Education courses.
With a track record of producing stars and careers over the last 30 years across its 25 campuses since its inception in 1992, ACC has nurtured and developed some of the biggest names in British music such as Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, Jess Glynne and Nova Twins.
Whilst continuing to offer those industry-leading courses in music, the college is expanding to offer over 750 students a world-class education in the expanding creative and sporting spheres, providing the platform to become the next stars of their field.
The facilities on campus are unrivalled and will feature their first dedicated esports classroom, complete with competition wings, a multi-functional event venue and a live music suite fitted with innovative recording studios, rehearsal rooms and production pods.
These new, bespoke spaces will allow students and staff to collaborate in brand-new ways, working together to be the best they can be and hone their skills, ready for the modern working world.
With a strong reputation in London already from their successful campus in Shoreditch, this latest site is set to continue to empower learners across these exciting developing industries.
