40th Anniversary Merchandising Expo Hailed A Huge Success
2023 saw the return of the Pro Ad Merchandising Expo, which was timed to culminate with the end of the 40th Anniversary celebrations for the promotional marketing company.
Attended by hundreds of marketing experts from the region, the event was productive and exciting day with 30 stands showcasing 1000+ products. There were 450 product enquiries on the day, and 20 direct orders placed within a week of the show, with many more to come.
Visitors were treated to two excellent speakers Melissa Chevin, Managing Director of Globefish Consulting Limited and Board member of the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) alongside Antonia Brindle of Get Brindled, a full-service marketing agency specialising in brand, PR, social media and crisis management. The visitors also enjoyed a buffet lunch and were wowed as a magician.
Carlo Nardini, founder of Pro Ad was delighted to see the return of the event, which had to take a break during the pandemic. He said:
“The Promotional Merchandise Expo turned out to be a fabulous day for our visitors who buy and use promotional products or corporate clothing. The attendees discovered thousands of products on display, hundreds of new product ideas, and some of the industry’s most prestigious experts showcasing a wide range of sustainable and UK made products.
“It was also enjoyable to host over 40 new and existing suppliers to a dinner the night before the event, where we celebrated our anniversary and being back together.”
Visitors received a goodie-bag full of fun and innovative ideas, from wellbeing kits, to socks, to lego display vans…all branded with the Pro Ad logo. Loren Nardini, commercial director, said:
“Thank you to our suppliers and whole team for attending, including our production experts, corporate clothing and workwear specialists, sharing our latest range of garments and clothing accessories. They demonstrated lots of branding techniques to help marketers explore the different ways of personalising brand, the best possible way.
“Our team also focused on the benefits of British and sustainable products. Our speakers focused on sustainable promotions and promoting and protecting a brand during its activation and the feedback to both has been immense. This event was a true landmark for our company and we really wrapped up our 40th year in business celebrations in style.”
