Aspirational Organisers Set to Flourish at APDO Conference
The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO), has unveiled the line up for its highly-anticipated annual conference (11 and 12 May), offering an invaluable opportunity for those developing and growing a business in the industry.
An action-packed two days of exchanging knowledge and ideas for APDO members and the general public, held at The Studio in Birmingham, this year’s conference theme is ‘Moving Forward to Flourish’. Professional organisers, as well as attendees working in other sectors seeking business development advice, can hear from top industry experts with a major line up of international and UK speakers confirmed, in addition to a selection of varied workshops.
The gold sponsor secured for the two-day extravaganza is A Place for Everything, the UK’s top stylish home storage specialists providing storage solutions for every room in the home. Most sessions however, are suitable for all levels of business; Chris Lovett shares ‘Less Busy, More Impact’, Zana Busby will talk about motivation and Juliet Landau-Pope presents on the importance of ‘Professional Development Planning’. Declutter Hub will provide ‘The 6 C’s to Catapult Your Business’ and Maya Rooz will share her fascinating thoughts on Hidden Grief.
Heather Tingle will talk about making your business neurodivergent friendly and there will be a separate panel discussion on ‘A Neurodiverse World’.
Furthermore, for those with a wealth of experience and considering their next move, Juliet Landau-Pope’s session on Writing Your Book will offer great value, alongside insight from Rosie Barron on ‘Course Creation & Marketing’. Una Doyle will also share her thoughts on the transition from ‘Solopreneur to CEO’.
