Eyrise to present on future of sustainability at Waste Build Zero conference in Amsterdam
Eyrise will take to the Innovation stage at the Waste Build Zero conference in Amsterdam later this week, presenting on the future of sustainable building.
Waste Build Zero is an annual event focused on zero carbon construction. It brings European architects, engineers, designers and developers together to share insight and discuss trends around circular building schemes.
Filip Roscam, head of experience design at glazing technology company Eyrise, will show how prominent public and commercial buildings are using dynamic liquid crystal glazing to enhance long-term sustainability and gain higher Green Building Certifications. Eyrise’s solar shading glass enables light and heat transmission to be regulated instantly, without compromising on natural daylight. It is designed to maintain a comfortable environment and positively impact wellbeing. The glass creates elegant building facades, as interior and exterior window blinds are not required.
“Achieving sustainability in the built environment presents the construction industry with a number of big challenges. Waste Build Zero will highlight best practice and advanced methods for designing eco-friendly buildings,” said Celine Glipa, CEO of Eyrise. “Solar shading glazing helps to preserve energy resources as less lighting, heating and air conditioning are needed.”
Waste Build Zero takes place on 11-12 May at the NDSM arena in Amsterdam.
Eyrise will speak at the Innovation stage on 11 May at 1pm. The company will also be present at booth number C60 on both days, where attendees can watch demonstrations of solar shading glass, and see how liquid crystal technology can be integrated into sustainable new-build and renovation projects.
