**Louise McCoy, The British Business Bank
The British Business Bank has today announced the appointment of Louise McCoy as commercial managing director, Small Business Lending, effective from Monday 1 May 2023, in a newly-created senior-level role.
Louise joined the Start Up Loans Company, now a programme under the British Business Bank, in 2016 as an Account Director before becoming its Commercial Director in 2018. Prior to that she worked in relationship management, customer service and management information roles for almost 20 years, including at Bank of Scotland and Deutsche Bank.
In her new position, Louise will have responsibility for aspects of both Start Up Loans and the Bounce Back Loan Scheme.

I am therefore delighted that she was successful in our open recruitment process and will be taking up this important new position.

Liliana Teixeira, Zest
Leading benefits platform Zest has appointed experienced international marketer, Liliana Teixeira, as its new head of marketing.
This announcement is the first senior hire since the recent appointment of Matt Russell as CEO, who is committed to expanding Zest’s senior leadership team to drive future growth of the business.
As Zest marks its 20-year anniversary, Teixeira will play a critical role in Zest’s future growth under the new direction of Russell. Ensuring all marketing efforts are aligned with Zest’s values and business objectives, Teixeira plans to spearhead the revamp of Zest’s brand identity, boosting its position as a market leading employee benefits platform.

**Rob Adams, Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountant’s
This week, RSM UK’s Rob Adams was appointed as the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountant’s new president. Rob is an associate tax director at the leading audit, tax and consulting firm, and is based in Liverpool and Chester, acting for clients in the North West and supporting the firm’s growing portfolio across the region.
Rob takes over from Justin Lang as president, following a number of RSM colleagues in the role including Graham Bond and Andy Lloyd. Nick Leddingham of Morris & Co is appointed as deputy president and Mark Kearsley of DSG as vice president.
Rob Adams, associate tax director and new Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountant’s president, said: ‘It is a privilege to be taking the reins of the oldest society of chartered accountants in the country and I know I have some big shoes to fill. I hope we can deliver high quality activities for members in this post-covid professional world and retain the proud legacy of our society.’
