JCT600 strengthens presence in Grimsby with new Volkswagen Centre
Leading family automotive retailer JCT600, which has operated the successful Audi Grimsby dealership for over ten years, is expanding its offering in the town with the opening of a new Volkswagen used vehicle and service centre.
Located at Hewitts Business Park in Humberston, adjacent to Audi Grimsby, the new centre will showcase a wide choice of Volkswagen Approved Used vehicles. In addition, Volkswagen owners will also be able to take advantage of a full range of aftersales care including servicing, MOTs, warranty work and general maintenance. The extensive workshop gives customers nine workshop bays and nine fully qualified technicians.
Volkswagen Grimsby adds to JCT600’s success with the brand, with five Volkswagen dealerships and eight service centres across the north. The expansion has created additional jobs for the town and builds on JCT600’s nearby dealerships in Lincoln, Boston and Hull.
Head of business, Steve Kirby, who has worked for JCT600 for 12 years and lives locally to the dealership, said: “We’re excited to be bringing Volkswagen back to Grimsby – renowned for quality and style, the brand is one of the most popular in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on our presence in the town with our established Audi dealership, giving customers even more choice of vehicles, all with the trusted JCT600 name behind them.
“As well as investing in Grimsby and creating more jobs here, we’re also pleased to be strengthening our relationship with Volkswagen after many years successfully representing the brand.”
Open seven days a week, Volkswagen Grimsby is easily accessible from the A1, A46 and M180.
JCT600 has grown from a single dealership into one of the largest privately owned businesses in Yorkshire. With over 50 dealerships from Yorkshire and the North East to Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, the group represents 23 of the world’s leading car marques and has a team of 2,300 colleagues.
