Modern pasta restaurant opens second location at “iconic” Battersea Power Station

Noci, the ‘modern pasta restaurant’, has now opened its second venue at Battersea Power Station.

The new site located in the “iconic” London landmark continues the original Islington restaurant’s focus on fresh pasta dishes made with seasonal ingredients, with an emphasis on creating a “lively neighbourhood atmosphere”.

The move comes a year after Noci’s original venue opened in Islington, following a successful pop-up at Mortimer House the previous November.

Noci Battersea has launched with an accessible menu of small plates and pasta dishes, as well as snacks inspired by Sicilian street food and cocktails on tap. The hallmark of the menu is the homemade plates of raviolo and silken handkerchief pasta with seasonal ingredients from farmers, producers and artisans across Europe.

Snacks include Islington-favourite the Saffron & ’nduja arancini, Salad of crispy fried squid, rocket and piquillo peppers and Burrata with rainbow chard, garlic, lemon and chilli.

Noci classics also feature on the Battersea menu such as Brown butter cacio e pepe ziti, and this seasons’ Silk handkerchief served with sautéed leeks, mint, peas, walnuts and a Burford Brown egg yolk.

Served tableside, with a “touch of drama”, is the staff favourite Veal & pork Genovese ragu with Monk’s Head cheese. A compact dessert menu includes Gianduja chocolate & hazelnut budino and Ricotta cheesecake, clementine jelly & dark chocolate with vegetarian and vegan options throughout.

Also on offer is an “enviable” list of Italian wines, with an emphasis on independent producers using low-intervention methods. Snacks include fritti, savoury Sicilian-inspired fried snacks, made for the table to share and designed as a “perfect way to kick off the meal” alongside seasonal spritzes or sparkling wines.

Highlights include the new handmade spritzes, exclusive to Battersea Power Station; yuzu and rhubarb, and apple and melon, as well as four Noci classic cocktails on tap, espresso martini, Aperol spritz, lemon & elderflower Spritz and spicy Tommy’s margarita.

Diners are able to book for lunch and dinner seatings, while passers-by can pop in for a quick lunch, pre-cinema feasting and after-work cocktails and nibbles at the bar.
