Coventry BID move into new offices in the city

The team that works to support the business community within Coventry city centre have moved into new offices.

Coventry BID, which employs four office-based staff and three street patrollers, has taken space at Holt Court, Warwick Row, in the city centre.

The property was let to Coventry BID by commercial property specialists Holt Commercial, which also occupies the offices next door.

The move is the latest phase of Coventry BID’s plan to deliver security and safety, marketing and promotion, and business support to levy payers in the city after the organisation was voted in for a fifth term earlier this year.

The new office includes a boardroom-style meeting room, and the team is offering the levy payers the opportunity to book the space to use for key meetings.

Joanne Glover, BID manager, said: “We’re really pleased to have moved into new offices in the city centre as we continue to deliver on the plans we set out in February, when we secured a fifth term for the BID.

“This is an important time for the city centre with lots of changes in the pipeline and as we still recover from the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. “There are lots of positive signs and businesses across the city centre that are performing strongly.

“It’s vitally important that we continue to promote everything that Coventry has to offer. There is so much to do and so many great businesses that it really is a fantastic place to be – whether it’s during a work lunchtime or for a weekend visit.

“We also work hard to ensure the city centre is safe and secure for everyone and that we raise awareness of support available to our businesses. “We’ve got the ideal base to work from and we look forward to delivering for businesses from our new home.”

Peter Holt, director of Holt Commercial, said: “It’s always nice to have new neighbours and especially when they play such a key role in the success of Coventry city centre. “Coventry has changed dramatically over recent years and that improvement continues. We’re looking forward to working with Coventry BID and Coventry City Council to attract even more occupiers into Coventry.”
