New integrated marketing agency comes to life in Manchester

A new full-service marketing agency has launched in Manchester, bringing together a collective of strategic, brand and digital communications experts.

Based in Sale, Greater Manchester, Cairn is a new venture set up by two former directors of One Brand Magic. Its purpose is to ‘take brands further’, whether that’s scale-ups focused on the next phase of growth, established brands pursuing new opportunities or businesses seeking a fresh approach to their communications.

Led by managing director Will English (previously of The Foundry, BJL and Tequila/TBWA) in partnership with creative director Andy Wood (McCann, Red C and Refinery), the agency’s senior leadership team also includes Aisha Choudhry, head of digital (Neon and Delineo) and Dawn Cain, senior account director (Blue Chip and Multiply).

Cairn promises to deliver fresh, original ideas and lateral thinking backed up with cross-channel campaign planning and activation. The assembled team includes digital natives and seasoned agency leaders with a combined wealth of major brand and multi-category experience across the B2B and B2C space, including retail, home interest, FMCG and financial services.

The agency’s core services are rooted around strategic planning and channel-spanning creative supported by a team of activation specialists across digital, off-line, PR and web design and development.
