Online pharmacy expands with six-figure support from HSBC UK

Signature Pharmacy, a prescription delivery service located in London, has received backing from HSBC UK to establish a new warehouse in West London. Thanks to the six-figure financial support, the company will be able to operate a large warehouse that covers 1400 square ft.

The new warehouse will be home to a state-of-the-art dispensary and in house technology department, supporting the company’s game-changing pharmacy technology and allowing Signature pharmacy to offer a seamless online pharmacy experience and deliver medication straight to customers doors in London.

In addition, Signature Pharmacy is looking to double the floor space with a second floor that will serve as additional warehouse and office space to support growth.

The expansion is expected to enable Signature Pharmacy to deliver more than 100,000 prescriptions annually, while creating 6 new jobs for the local community, including pharmacy dispenser and software developer roles.

Reece Samani, superintendent pharmacist and CEO at Signature Pharmacy said: “Our vision at Signature Pharmacy is to make patients’ healthcare journeys easier, safer, and more convenient.

“We’re building the future of pharmacy with our technology and on-demand pharmacy logistics, and thanks to telephone consultations and digital prescriptions, we can now provide a healthcare gateway that was previously unavailable. With the financial support from HSBC UK, we can expand our on-demand healthcare services to a wider range of patients, revolutionising the healthcare industry.”

Raj Yadav, senior commercial manager at HSBC UK, commented: “Healthcare services are under significant strain across the country, and as pharmacies across the UK take on more responsibilities, we’re pleased to support Signature Pharmacy in its efforts to support health service provision and deliver essential pharmaceutical services to communities.”

CEO Reece Samani was recently listed in the Forbes 30 under 30 for his commitment to science and healthcare.
