Roy Hogg & John Gold, Johnston Carmichael

Top 10 UK accountancy firm, Johnston Carmichael, has welcomed Roy Hogg, Business Advisory Partner, and John Gold, Business Advisory Director, into its experienced Stirling office as the team expands its capabilities.

Liz Cole, Higgs LLP

A skilled business development professional with extensive experience in the legal sector has joined Higgs LLP. Liz Cole is a new addition to the Business Development team at the award-winning West Midlands law firm.

In her new role at Higgs, Liz will spend half her time working with the business services department, assisting them with building relationships with established business partners and looking for new opportunities.

The remainder of her time will be split between the personal injury and clinical negligence team and general business development.

Liz, from Nottingham, said the variety of the role and Higgs’ culture attracted her to the job. “I am delighted to have joined Higgs and I have had an excellent welcome,” she said. “I was impressed by the firm’s people and culture. There is a really nice work ethos. Higgs genuinely values both its clients and its people, which is very refreshing.”

Tony Clarke, Nova Eames & Martyn Pask, Avant Homes East Midland

Nottingham-based housebuilder Avant Homes East Midlands has strengthened its team with three director appointments to enable the ongoing delivery of the housebuilder’s regional expansion strategy.

Tony Clarke and Martyn Pask join as construction director and technical director respectively, whilst Nova Eames has been hired as sales and marketing director.

Avant Homes regional chairman, Mark Cook, said: “These senior appointments will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious growth plans within the East Midlands. Tony, Martyn and Nova all bring a wealth of experience and insight to our business. Working together with them, we will deliver our expansion strategy by making our homes available to more buyers in places people want to live in the East Midlands.”

Avant Homes East Midlands has eight live developments ranging from Brailsford to Kettering with many more due to start as the business continues to implement its expansion plans.
