Mark Preston, Herd
Mark Preston has over 13 years of agency and performance marketing experience across owned, earned and paid media strategy, in agencies including Jaywing and Stickyeyes. Mark has worked with some of the biggest global brands including Dyson, Honda, Lloyds Banking Group, Cigna and Johnson and Johnson.
In the role of performance director, Mark will be responsible for execution excellence across all performance marketing channels, ensuring that Herd’s proposition is futureproofed and relevant to partner’s needs.

Charles Dunn, Matt Smith, Rob Darrington and Chris Wood: Sheffield Property Association
The collective voice of property in Sheffield, the Sheffield Property Association, has announced the appointment of four new directors who have joined the board of the organisation.
Charles Dunn, director at Urbana, Matt Smith, director at Services Design Associates, Rob Darrington, director at Commercial Property Partners and Chris Wood, business development manager at Ovo Spaces are now in place as directors as the organisation looks to grow its network and membership within the City.
The Sheffield Property Association (S-PA) brings together a group of businesses that are committed to improving Sheffield’s built environment. The key aim of the S-PA is to make Sheffield a great place to be for everyone who lives, works and socialises in the city.
Tim Bottrill, director at the Sheffield Property Association, commented: “It is great news that Charles, Matt, Rob and Chris have joined the board at such a key time for the S-PA. We have been through a rigorous appointment process and their collective wealth of experience will provide support and guidance in achieving the S-PA’s values and goals.
“As a member organisation, we are always looking to attract new members and collaborate in partnership with businesses and individuals. The new board members will be working with us to support, celebrate and promote Sheffield and build relationships that will strengthen the city.
“The new directors will also be reviewing the current role and objectives of the S-PA to ensure it continues to evolve and meet its member’s expectations. In addition, I know they are passionate about increasing diversity within the organisation and we will be working with our members and stakeholders to achieve this moving forward.”
Peter Harrison, Sniffers Pet Care
West Yorkshire based Sniffers, which manufactures natural pet treats for customers including Pets at Home and Jollyes and hundreds of independent retailers, has recruited Peter Harrison to head up its finance department as chief financial officer.
Peter brings with him over 15 years of FMCG and manufacturing industry experience, having held senior positions with Morrisons, Asda and Victoria Plum.
He joins from Aviva Bus where he was head of commercial finance. His experience of both Plc retail and private equity backed firms will play a crucial role in scaling Sniffers and its own recently launched natural dog food brand, NAW.
His responsibilities at Sniffers will include strategic and financial planning, working across all areas of the business to provide financial and commercial support to help Sniffers build on its established position and continue its growth.
Peter commented: “After spending several years in large corporations, I am excited to apply my knowledge and expertise in food retail to a high growth, PE-backed SME once again.
“The UK pet food sector is an exciting place to be right now, and Sniffers is ideally placed to achieve significant growth and deliver new product propositions. Our newly launched NAW brand, offers all-natural, no additives, and recyclable dog treats and aligns perfectly with the needs of the market, and I am eager to contribute to its success.”
