Newcastle based The Inn Collection Group relaunches ‘popular’ Winter Breaks

Winter breaks are back across the North of England and North Wales, as The Inn Collection Group has announced the relaunch of its ‘popular’ offer for 2023/24.

Covering stays from November 1 and March 31 (excluding Christmas and New Year, where separate staycation packages are available) Winter Breaks is an offer that is open at 29 of the Newcastle based operator’s Inns.

A spokesperson explained: “With cosy traditional inns found in some of the UK’s most popular destinations, the draw of enjoying tasty pub-style food and well-kept drinks next to a real fire before retiring to a comfortable bedroom for a relaxing night’s sleep is sure to prove an irresistible attraction.

“Be it wrapping up warm and enjoying a bracing walk in crisp fresh air, or enjoying the peace and tranquillity offered outside of the main tourist seasons, there is no better way to recharge and reconnect as the nights draw in and the mercury falls.”

Launching the package, head of marketing Louise Harris commented: “Winter Breaks are one of our most popular offers and with household budgets still being keenly managed, we expect this to continue this winter.

“Offering a delicious dinner, comfortable bed and hearty breakfast in a traditional inn, Winter Breaks are an outstanding way to enjoy the best of Britain’s countryside and coastline without breaking the bank.”

Following a year of refurbishments, winter 2023/24 is the first opportunity to enjoy this offer at a host of venues with new looks.

On the North East coast, The Tynemouth Castle Inn is ready to showcase “dramatic” seascapes, whilst in the lake district The Swan at Grasmere, Ambleside’s The Waterhead Inn and The Wateredge Inn are set for guests to enjoy a “quintessential countryside getaway”.

In North Yorkshire, the triumvirate of The Harrogate Inn, The Knaresborough Inn and The Ripon Inn opens up the “magic” of these historic towns and cities, whilst further north in the county, The Stables in Whitby opens up the wilds of the North York Moors.
