Slim Chickens renames Fourth of July Slimdependence Day

American chicken chain Slim Chickens, that’s exploded onto the UK fast-casual dining scene and already amassed a devoted fan base (leaving the Colonel quaking in his boots), is going big with its Fourth of July celebrations… even renaming it Slimdependence Day!

While Slims has only been in the UK for five years, there are now 45 Slim Chickens restaurants all around the UK – with lots more opening this year (as well as outlets at Haven Holiday sites).

Proud of its American heritage, and recognising how many Brits (including YouTuber Chunkz ; TikTok icons Brookie and Jessie and Love Islander Kady McDermott) love its authentic American recipes, Slims is bringing the US holiday party to the UK and hoping that everyone around the country will join them in making this year’s Fourth of July a huge day of Slimdependence celebration.

There will be two new mouth-watering items joining the menu, launching on 4th July, including new Buffalo Blue Loaded Fries and a Caramel Flake flavour being added to its eight-strong hand-spun shake line up.

Slims is also giving away a trip to New York with £1000 thrown in too for shopping! Anyone who buys a Tenders Meal between 27th June and 11th July, and who scans their loyalty card in the app, will be entered into the draw.

There are offers galore as part of the celebrations. As a taster of the discounts during Independence Day month, customers will be able to get Four solo Tenders for just £4 during week one, in week two milkshakes will be Two for £6, a Solo Wrap is just £2.49 from 17th July and all milkshakes will be £3 between 24th and 30th July … this makes Slims shakes much cheaper than most ice cream van cones!

The best way to benefit from Slims’ offers is by downloading the Slim Chickens easy-to-use app. Users can collect reward points and receive free products and discounts. Anyone who downloads its app and makes a purchase using its loyalty card scheme will get 3 FREE wings, or if they get three points there’s a free milkshake.
