Henry Marshall, Placefirst
Build-to-rent provider Placefirst has appointed Henry Marshall as its new investment director, to drive forward the business’s ambitious growth plans.
Henry joins the senior leadership team in this newly created role at a key moment for the business which looks to build on recent success. Henry will be based in the London office and will be responsible for leading Placefirst’s expansion geographically, which will include working with third party delivery partners.
Henry has more than 15 years’ experience in real estate investment, specialising in the living sectors. He was most recently at property investment firm Realstar responsible for the acquisition and asset management of residential investments, helping grow the business to over 4,000 units. Prior to this, Henry held transaction roles at Quintain and Deloitte.
Henry commented: “I am excited to join Placefirst at such an important time following significant recent growth. Having already delivered a number of award-winning schemes, the business has many successful neighbourhoods across England where people are proud to live.”

Caroline Gorski, Capital Enterprise
Caroline Gorski, an entrepreneur and innovation leader from Rolls-Royce, will join Capital Enterprise, one of the UK’s leading startup support organisations from September 1, it has been announced.
With over 25 years’ experience in emerging technologies and digital transformation, Caroline Caroline is known for her leadership of R² Data Labs, Rolls-Royce’s Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence division, and as the former CEO of the R² Factory which brought industrial AI capability to highly regulated businesses.
Previously, she served as head of IoT and Digital Manufacturing at the Digital Catapult. Gorski’s leadership and innovation experience uniquely position her to spearhead Capital Enterprise’s ambitious vision for the future.
Caroline commented: “I’ve spent my career working in the interface between technological change and societal change, either in the commercial world, the public sector or through our communities.
“We are living through the most extraordinary phase of technological development, genuinely a once-in-250-year cycle of transformation, and we are lucky enough to be in one of the world’s top three innovation centres.”

Nicholas Goubert, Ocean Technologies Group
Ocean Technologies Group, a global provider of Human Capital Management solutions for the maritime industry, has further strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of Nicholas Goubert as its new chief product officer.
With a wealth of experience in strategy, innovation, teambuilding, and product management, Nicholas is set to drive the company’s product vision and strategy to new heights. Nicholas Goubert brings over 15 years’ of experience as a product leader in diverse industries, including location services, mobility, fintech, entertainment and media.
Throughout his career, Nicholas has consistently demonstrated his passion for building strong product creation teams and delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of industries. Prior to joining Ocean Technologies Group, Nicholas held key leadership roles at renowned companies such as Clark, SoundCloud, Native Instruments, HERE, and Nokia.
His tenure at these organisations has enabled him to develop an extensive skill set in driving strategic product initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning and big data to meet evolving market demands and drive growth.
