Leah Sutton, Balderton Capital
Balderton Capital has today announced the appointment of Leah Sutton as Chief Portfolio Talent Officer. Leah will be responsible for providing support and advice for the 100+ active companies within Balderton’s portfolio, focusing on recruitment, culture and organisational strategy. Leah brings over two decades’ experience and a passion for helping founders hire world-class teams, develop their leadership teams and scale their organisations.
The appointment follows the launch of Balderton’s Founder Wellbeing and Performance Platform, as the firm continues to strengthen its portfolio support services. Balderton’s portfolio support team consists of experts in talent, legal, finance, ESG and marketing, as well as an Executive in Residence programme for further specialist support.
Leah was previously SVP of Global HR at search company Elastic (ESTC), and has over two decades worth of experience in human resources and people management. In her seven years at Elastic, Leah led the company through 10x people growth, including an IPO and six acquisitions.

Damon Anderson, Employment Hero
Employment Hero, the global cloud HR and payroll platform, has appointed Damon Anderson as UK managing director with immediate effect.
Anderson is a highly accomplished leader with over 20 years’ experience of delivering cutting-edge digital products and new technology in the professional and financial services sectors.
Harnessing his experience, Anderson will lead Employment Hero’s strategic growth in the UK, increasing the size of its UK team significantly, and delivering new products for its SME and partner accountancy and bookkeeping clients. Anderson’s appointment demonstrates Employment Hero’s commitment to the UK market and to innovation as a leader in the HR and payroll cloud technology space.

Thomas Proden, The Silver Birch
The Silver Birch is delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas Proden as its new general manager.
Proden, a seasoned hospitality management professional, brings over 15 years of experience in customer relations, team leadership, and business development to the role. His passion for enhancing customer experience, fostering employee development, and his love for exceptional food and beverages make him a perfect fit for The Silver Birch.
Proden joins The Silver Birch from Les 110 de Taillevent, a renowned French fine-wine restaurant in central London. Prior to that, he held the position of Assistant General Manager at the prestigious Hakkasan Group. His extensive experience and proven track record in the hospitality industry will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of The Silver Birch.
