North East marketing firm extends its reach in Brazil
The iGaming and betting market in ‘sports-mad’ Brazil is rocketing following recent changes in gambling laws and a UK firm is in the thick of it. Affili8 (under its trading name of iGaming Agency) has extended its reach into the country by undertaking SEO work for new sportsbook brand Lance! Betting.
The contract comes after Kambi Group, Eyas Gaming and Brazilian media website Lance! combined to create the new betting platform. Kambi provides the sports betting technology, Eyas will run the brand and with a following of more than 15 million active users per month from Lance! who will be a key partner.
Affili8, based in North East England, has a portfolio of iGaming and betting clients across the world, and has been working with Eyas on its Merkur Slots brand since its launch. Started by three friends, now the company directors, Chris O’Rourke, Richard Paget and Chris Sutherland, Affili8 already works in Brazil, the UK, USA, New Zealand, Brazil, South Africa, Romania, and Canada.
And, this new contract establishes Affili8 as a go-to global partner for iGaming and betting SEO, as potential clients see its work challenging established brands in the UK in terms of search market visibility.
Adam Jospeh, chief operating officer of Eyas, said “We’ve been working with Affili8 for the last three years and have been delighted with their work. “This is an important market for us and we’re confident that Affili8 will deliver the same success for us in Brazil as they have in the UK.”
Chris O’Rourke said: “It is an exciting opportunity and wonderful to be working with such an exciting brand, in partnership with Eyas and Lance Media. We believe we can quickly establish and grow Lance! Betting to be a leading brand in Brazil. “The Brazilian market is competitive, but we are confident that we will make an impact.
“It is early days following the deregulation of the laws, and it’s still early days for us as a company, having only been established during the pandemic but we hope we can mirror the growth curve we expect to see there. In fact, we’re currently looking at acquisitions in the digital marketing space and expect to hit £1m turnover in the next 12 months which we see as a huge win!”
