The North East’s largest process industry expo returns for 2023

The North East of England Process Industry Cluster’s (NEPIC) highly anticipated Meet the Members Expo and Conference is returning on Thursday 05 October 2023 at Hardwick Hall’s Grand Marquee for its 13th year.

Meet the Members is the North East’s largest process industry expo attended by over 600 delegates from sectors including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and renewables.

Investors, manufacturers and suppliers from across the region flock to the event, with nearly 90 exhibitors in attendance each year, previously including the likes of bp, Bilfinger, Kellas Midstream, ABB and Beamex.

Attendees at the event also benefit from business mentoring sessions, sector updates from keynote speakers and countless opportunities for networking and increased brand exposure.

NEPIC can now exclusively reveal their first speaker for this year’s conference, Ian Hibbitt, business development manager for industrial decarbonisation and applications at BOC, a Linde company, who will provide insight into BOC’s post combustion capture project ‘Teesside Hydrogen CO2 Capture’, which plans to add carbon capture technology to one of the UK’s largest hydrogen production facilities.

Speaking on the opportunity, Ian said: “I am thoroughly looking forward to presenting at NEPIC’s Meet the Members Conference. Having previously attended NEPIC events, I know first-hand the positive impact they have for process industry businesses in our region and I value the opportunity to discuss CCUS and decarbonisation technology with industry.”

The expo will be held from 8:00 – 16:00. Tickets and exhibition stands are now on sale.
