Watford residential development delivers over 140 new homes amid regeneration

Construction work has now finished at Bellway London’s Waterside at Riverwell development in Watford, where only three apartments remain for sale.

The development, off Thomas Sawyer Way, features 143 one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The apartments still available to reserve are three one-bedroom apartments, including the show apartment.

Each property features an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, integrated kitchen appliances and a fitted wardrobe in the bedroom. These final three apartments also come with furniture included.

Greg Allsop, sales director for Bellway London, commented: “It is great to see all work complete at Waterside at Riverwell, a high-quality development which forms part of the wider Riverwell regeneration project in Watford.

“The new apartments have transformed this site into a wonderful place to live, next to green open space and the River Colne, yet just a mile from Watford town centre and within easy reach of train services into London.

“With a majority of residents now moved in, a real sense of community has begun to take shape. As well as a concierge service, the development has a residents’ gym and a shared roof terrace, making it easier for neighbours to meet and spend leisure time together.”

The wider Watford Riverwell regeneration project has been planned to transform 70 acres of land south of Watford General Hospital and Watford Football Club. A primary school, community centre, workplaces, and more than four acres of open green space are all planned for the surrounding neighbourhood.
