GAIL’s rolls into the Ashley Centre

CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) has announced GAIL’s, the artisanal bakery concept and café, has opened at the Ashley Centre, Epsom’s premier shopping destination.

GAIL’s has launched a 5,958 sq ft unit spanning three floors adjacent to the entrance to East Square. Serving its signature high-quality pastries, breads, and cakes, GAIL’s elevates the F&B offering at the Ashley Centre.

Louisa Butters, Head of Retail Asset Management UK at CBRE IM, added: “As a much-loved brand across London, GAIL’s is a fantastic addition to the Ashley Centre. Its opening marks another key step to achieving our long-term strategy for the centre by strengthening the quality of our F&B offering and enhancing the calibre of brands. The centre is in a strong position, but it will continue to evolve, with more brands of GAIL’s quality joining the line-up over the coming months.”

CBRE IM is implementing a £5 million refurbishment of the Ashley Centre, which is set to complete by the end of the year. The centre has recently welcomed Deichmann, which opened a 3,498 sq ft unit last month, and JD will be opening at the centre in a 4,453 sq ft store in September, joining brands such as Monsoon and NEXT.

GCW & Cushman and Wakefield represent the Ashley Centre, while Forty Group acted on behalf of GAIL’s.
