**Neil Purvis & Peter Layfield, Lichfields
Planning and development consultancy Lichfields has announced two specialist appointments at its London office as it develops and expand its work in the environmental and heritage sectors.
Neil Purvis has been appointed EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Associate Director, bringing more than six years’ experience and expertise in environmental planning to the role. He was previously at Barton Willmore (now Stantec), and his track record covers mixed-use, residential, urban regeneration and renewable energy projects.
Peter Layfield, who is completing an Historic Environment Advice Assistant apprenticeship, joins the team as a Heritage Consultant following time at Historic England, where he worked in its policy development team. He graduated with a degree in archaeology from Durham University.
The appointments come as Lichfields, which won the ‘Consultancy Practice of the Year 2023’ award at the Property Week Resi Awards, is seeing strong growth with the London office currently involved in a number of major projects across London and the South East of England.
Commenting on the new appointments, Matthew Spry, senior director and head of the London Office said: “I’m delighted to see further growth in our thriving London office. Neil and Peter’s respective expertise in environmental planning and heritage will strengthen our specialist capabilities and help us service a growing demand from clients across the capital and beyond.”
21 promotions, Osbornes Law
London law firm Osbornes Law has promoted three solicitors to partner as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The record round, which saw 21 people promoted across the firm, saw medical negligence lawyer Jodi Newton and private client lawyers Suzanna Baker and Katie de Swarte join the partnership. It takes the total number of partners to 25, including 15 women.
Jodi is a highly respected clinical negligence solicitor with 20 years’ experience in birth injury cases. Suzanna specialises in non-contentious matters and is a “Recommended Tax & Trust Lawyer” in the Spear’s 500. Katie is an expert in contentious trusts and probate matters and is ranked as a leading lawyer in the Chambers High Net Worth guide.
Many of the firm’s partners also trained at Osbornes, which has offices in Camden and Hampstead.
Managing partner Stuart Kightley says: “It is a pleasure to welcome three fantastic solicitors to our partnership, congratulations to them all. To have promoted a record number of lawyers in our 50th year is a massive achievement for the firm and recognises their hard work and dedication to clients.”
Alexa Cobbold, Angharad Planells & James Olliver, Reboot Online
SEO company Reboot Online has announced the expansion of its senior leadership team with four external appointments following a period of consistent growth.
Joining the team from northern Digital Marketing Agency, IDHL Group, Alexa Cobbold and James Olliver, have both been appointed as Digital PR Account Directors who will play a pivotal role in developing strategic PR campaigns and leading PR teams to new heights of achievement.
Prior to joining Reboot, James held similar positions at a number of prominent Digital PR agencies including IDHL Group and Search Labs, whilst Alexa boasts almost a decade of experience at IDHL Group, managing the delivery of creative PR solutions for notable clients across a wide array of industries.
Commenting on her new appointment, Alexa said: “I’m fully prepared to take on a new challenge with Reboot not only to make an impact, but also to share my expertise and industry insights to help shape the company in its exciting time of growth. The four-day work week is an added bonus, and equally compelling is the company’s commitment to a positive work-life balance which has struck a chord with me.”
Reboot further welcomed Angharad Planells as another Digital PR Account Director, bringing a wealth of experience following an 11-year career in senior roles and most recently, head of PR and culture at Radioactive PR.
