Central London prime residential development celebrates sales milestone
Having launched to the market in January 2023, prime residential development 8 Eaton Lane has announced that the building is now 45 per cent sold.
8 Eaton Lane is said to be ‘one of this year’s most highly anticipated residential schemes’, which will see the restoration of a historic Grade II listed Belgravia address into 42 ‘luxurious’ apartments, a 6,200 sq ft floor of amenities and seven retail units at ground level.
8 Eaton Lane is being led by CIT Group, which boasts vast experience in the redevelopment of period buildings, having spearheaded the transformation of London’s only Grade I listed new build, Regent’s Crescent, and Grade II listed No. 18 Porchester Gardens in Bayswater.
Henry Barrow, sales director at CIT, commented: ’We are delighted by the strong sales momentum we have seen and are continuing to see at 8 Eaton Lane.
“The buyers to date have been a mixture of domestic and international, although recently we have noted particularly high levels of interest from local buyers, with over 15 per cent of the residences being sold to British buyers.
“They are drawn to the combination of elegant historical architecture and contemporary interiors, as well as to the building’s expansive amenity offering and sought-after Belgravia location.
“It is very rare to be able to buy your own slice of British history, whilst also enjoying all of the benefits of living in a new build residence, designed to an exceptionally high specification.”
Overseeing the restoration of the building’s façade and the creation of the 42 new build apartments is architecture practice Studio PDP. Inside, interior architecture and design studio Millier London will be creating exquisite spaces that marry the French renaissance architectural detail with an elegant, classically British sensibility.
