International business consultancy celebrates 20 years of ‘expansive growth’

Founded in Italy in 2003 with its UK headquarters in London, international consulting company BIP has supported national and international businesses in achieving sustainability, social responsibility, and business goals for 20 years.

With the initial objective of providing support to companies in adapting innovation to their business, BIP experienced annual growth exceeding 15 per cent in its first decade, growing from 50 employees in 2003 to 850 in 2013.

Over time, BIP expanded its economic sectors and ventured beyond national borders, entering a period of significant international expansion, aided by the entry of private equity fund CVC Capital Partners in 2021. Today, the main countries where it operates include the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, and the United States.

Throughout the years, the Group has established itself as a recognised player in the market, developing a more integrated offering over time.

Now, 20 years later, BIP, with a revenue of approximately 450 million euros (December 2022), employs over 5,000 people of 46 different nationalities in 13 countries worldwide, with an average age of 33 years and with more than 2,000 professionals under the age of 30, accounting for 41 per cent of the Group’s population.

BIP UK was launched last year as part of the company’s expansion into Europe following its rebrand of the digital transformation consultancy Chaucer.

The group includes BIP xTech, bringing data, AI and cloud to clients across the country, as well as a Sustainability offering to help organisations reach global net zero goals and meet key principles underpinning the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

In November 2022, BIP UK announced its certification as B Corp, reflecting the company’s commitment to meet the highest standards in environmental and social governance. A year on, BIP UK continues to help businesses transform and achieve quality at scale through technological and sustainable solutions.
