North East business energy supplier creates jobs amid expansion into new regions
Jellyfish, a new North East tech-driven business energy supplier, has launched a recruitment drive in the region.
The company, which already has thousands of SME business customers using its platform, is looking to employ 30 members of staff to grow with the supplier’s increasing demand. From customer service advisors and partner managers, to office staff and cleaners, the vacancies available total 30 on site, with more expected in the coming months.
Aidon Hudson, CEO at Jellyfish Energy, commented: “Here at Jellyfish we have ambitious targets and are committed to offering fair and transparent energy to SME businesses.
“Although our approach is tech-driven, it’s crucial for us to still have the human customer service element. This allows us to support our business owners, troubleshoot any issues and ensure our customers are receiving a high quality service.
“We’re currently in the process of setting up both our London and Manchester offices, however we’re ultimately committed to having the majority of our team based here in the North East.”
Jellyfish’s increasing popularity is majorly down to its unique tech-driven approach. All Jellyfish business customers can manage their utilities through an app or by logging into their online account. Here they can view account balances, monitor energy usage, submit meter readings, manage payments and also look after multiple property accounts.
Aidon added: “Tech should be used to streamline and simplify, and that’s exactly what we’re trying to do with business utilities. Business owners already have enough to juggle and hopefully our user-friendly technology can take the stress away from energy management.”
