YurtBar expands Christmas party presence with new location in Manchester
YurtBar, the host of apres-ski-inspired festive event experiences, is expanding into Manchester this December. Originating in Leeds, YurtBar has gained popularity with its alpine-themed events and will now introduce its unique yurt village to a new city in the north of England.
The event will be held in the grounds of Sale Golf Club, offering an immersive, ski-resort-style party experience to businesses in the heart of Manchester. The expansion comes after YurtBar Leeds saw huge success in 2022, selling over 3,000 tickets.
The Manchester YurtBar features an extensive layout with themed bars, dance floors, and social areas equipped with tables and seating, accommodating up to 320 guests.
Matthew Hyde at Baba Ganoush Dining will provide an Alpine savoir feast, including a traditional fondue, and after indulging in a three-course dinner, guests can enjoy live entertainment from a DJ, saxophonist, tambourinist, and MC.
With festive beverages, including mulled wine, cocktails, ski shots, steins of beer, and a 360 photo booth, complete with falling snow, guests are sure to get in the Christmas spirit as the après experience is captured in all its glory.
YurtBars’ Alpine-themed events will take place across December and are available for private, corporate Christmas parties. Guests can reserve tables for 6-12 people in either Leeds or Manchester, with prices starting at £64.50 per person. Each ticket includes entry to the cosy Alpine yurt village, a welcome drink, a three-course meal, live music and entertainment.
In addition to being a Christmas party destination, the individual yurts or YurtBar’s entire yurt village can be booked for private events, workshops, corporate parties, or family celebrations.
Founder Tom launched YurtBar seven years ago in the grounds of Moor Allerton Golf Club, Leeds. Inspired by his love of skiing and apres-ski parties, Tom set out to bring the excitement of an alpine-themed yurt experience to the UK. This expansion into Manchester marks a significant milestone for the brand, offering visitors a memorable way to celebrate the festive period.
Tom Sterne, managing director of YurtBar, Yorkshire Yurts and Yurtshire, explains, “Due to the popularity of YurtBar Leeds last Christmas, we are bringing this unique experience to a new city. Manchester is well known for its bustling nightlife and seems like the perfect place to expand.
“We’re preparing to welcome our first customers from 1 December and think YurtBar is the ideal place to host a festive catch-up with your friends, family or colleagues – instead of a more traditional Christmas party.”
Beyond December, the yurts remain available to hire for exclusive corporate and celebratory event bookings throughout the year through sister company Yorkshire Yurts.
YurtBar Manchester and Leeds are now open for corporate Christmas party bookings, operating Thursday through Saturday.
