Cleveland Cable Company Continues to See Remarkable Growth Despite Industry-Wide Challenges

Cleveland Cable Company, the UK’s leading provider of high-quality cables and accessories, is thrilled to announce outstanding growth within the first quarter of the 2023/24 financial year. This remarkable achievement reflects the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge cable solutions for a variety of industries and projects.

In a significant milestone, Cleveland Cable Company’s export business has seen an outstanding 300% increase in growth, compared to the same period in 2022/23. Highlighting the company’s continuous expansion and demand for its products and services.

Over the course of these three months, Cleveland Cable Company has effectively shipped its products to 29 countries – 27 of them located within the EMEA region. The company’s expertise and commitment to tailoring installations to meet customer needs, have established it as a trusted partner for projects ranging from data centres, and renewable energy facilities to event venues. This demonstrates the company’s adaptability across industries worldwide.

Cleveland Cable Company’s current position is even more remarkable given its recent challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions, Brexit, and the rising cost of living. Additionally, the conflict in Ukraine has significantly impacted the availability of raw materials such as wood, as Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus account for 35% of the world’s timber production. This has had repercussions on global markets for timber and related products, including wooden drums and pallets used for exporting cables worldwide.

In response to the supply chain challenges, Cleveland Cable Company has introduced its ‘drum amnesty’ initiative, extending its waste reduction efforts to its own drums and those from other suppliers. This commitment to sustainability and adaptability has been a defining characteristic of the company’s success throughout its 45-year history.
