Metis Real Estate expands team as client roster grows

Metis Real Estate (Metis), the North West-based retail and leisure leasing and commercial investment agency, has expanded its team following continual company growth, hiring three graduates and creating a new director role.

Metis has welcomed three graduates to the company, providing additional support as the company looks to continue its strong growth. Narrowing down the search from eighty applicants, the successful candidates, Max Woolstencroft, Charley Foster and Luc Hogan, underwent a vigorous interview process and are now supporting the wider Metis team across retail and leisure leasing, as well as commercial investment. Metis will support the graduates’ training and development, including their work to passing their final APC Assessments to become chartered surveyors.

Developing the team to cater for an expanding roster of clients, Metis has also promoted Luke Nicholson to Director, working across both retail and leisure. Luke will continue to support the company’s inhouse lease advisory offer, providing strategic counsel across Metis’ growing client base, which includes Liverpool ONE and The Trafford Centre, as well as Metis’ significant role in a number of city centre destinations, such as Heart of the City II and The Moor in Sheffield, and the Arndale, Royal Exchange, Printworks, Corn Exchange, Spinningfields and Great Northern in Manchester.

These latest appointments aim to support both the leasing and investment teams, following a pivotal period of growth at Metis. Welcoming a broad range of recent transactions, Metis’ investment team has represented the iconic Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool and SciTech/ Lab developments in South Manchester, to one of the UK’s largest industrial developments at Konnect 62 in West Yorkshire. Similarly, increasing its leasing presence across key retail and leisure strongholds in the north, Metis has recently been appointment by Pradera Lateral as sole F&B and Leisure agents at Eldon Square in Newcastle. These appointments across leasing and investment, complements Metis’ unrivalled regional expertise and specialism in the sector, with the company looking to continue its growth across strategic UK cities.
