Major Exhibition Success for UK Container Maintenance
Container repair and refurbishment specialist UK Container Maintenance (UKCM), is celebrating a hugely successful presence at The Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM) 2023 (13-14 September), as it receives stellar feedback from attendees.
From the firm’s engaging stand, UKCM shared an insight into its innovative range of solutions to help business and local authorities to secure significant cost-savings, with the maintenance and refurbishment of their waste and recycling containers. UKCM showcased how it can not only increase the lifespan of a container through repair and refurbishment, therefore promoting a circular economy, but how it can help to maintain compliance and maximise utilisation.
Formerly known as RWM & Letsrecycle Live, RWM is the UK’s leading event for professionals working in the recycling, resource, waste and broader environmental services industry.
The event welcomed more than 9,000 visitors, over 370 exhibitors and 181 speakers.
Liz Wolstenholme, Finance and Operations Director at UKCM commented: “RWM was a great success for team UKCM. A high level of engaged visitors contributed to a brilliant atmosphere across both days, with a real buzz around the stand as we showcased our services. As a well-regarded show in the industry, we were incredibly proud to exhibit once again, developing both new and existing relationships that enable us to extend our support for public and private organisations across the nation, providing cost-effective solutions for a sustainable future.
“There are exciting times ahead for UKCM now as part of the Impact Environmental Group (IEG). The company shares our passion for and interest in the environment, and firmly understands the importance of reducing our overall carbon footprint through refurbishment and recycling - something that we very much look forward to building upon further as a wider team.”
Established in 1998, UKCM is dedicated to the refurbishment of all types of waste and recycling containers. UKCM works across the country offering waste companies and local authorities’ mobile repairs, as well as factory-based services at its head office located in Winsford, Cheshire.
The process brings old, and often unwanted, waste containers back to life instead of them going to scrap. The business model – refurbishment over replacement - is simple.
