Sheffield Business School to train SME manufacturers in Yorkshire & Humber on how to lead digital change

Leaders across the Yorkshire & Humber are invited to take advantage of a new Leadership & Management programme that is being delivered across the region, with 50% of the programme funded through Made Smarter.

Sheffield Business School has been selected by Made Smarter to design and deliver leadership & management training to SME manufacturers in Yorkshire & Humber. As part of the £4.9m Made Smarter Yorkshire & Humber Digital Adoption Programme, the training will take manufacturers through approximately 40 hours of specialist change leadership development through a blend of online and face-to-face workshops. Three groups of manufacturing leaders will begin training this Autumn in locations over the Yorkshire & Humber region.

The course is suitable for experienced leaders as well as those new to change leadership. You don’t have to be a technology specialist; people from any business function will benefit from the programme providing they have an interest in digital transformation and a focus on improving the business using IT.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Work for a small or medium-sized enterprise based in the Yorkshire and Humber region
  • Employ between 5 and 249 employees in the business.
