APDO to Attend Major Household Industry Event as Official Partner
The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) is gearing up once more to attend the major household industry event of the year, the Clean & Tidy Home Show, this year as an official partner.
Taking place 14th and 15th October at ExCeL London, the Clean & Tidy Home Show aims to provide visitors with all the tips, tricks, tools and motivation needed to clean, organise and take control of their homes.
The association will have a significant presence at this year’s event, with an impressive lineup of 21 APDO speakers showcasing their knowledge, experience and understanding across 26 sessions. Over the two days, APDO members will be appearing on every single stage at the show (the main stage, the demo stage, the extra stage and the ‘ask the expert’ stage), discussing topics including procrastination, paperwork, hoarding behaviours, storage, prioritising and neurodiversity.
President of APDO, Sian Pelleschi, will be leading a session on professional organising at the event, as well as participating in a discussion on the main stage, on understanding the impact of the menstrual cycle, perimenopause and menopause and how it alters your relationship to homemaking.
As exhibitors at the show, APDO will also be providing attendees with opportunities to learn more about the association and the specialist services offered by its members, as well as find organisers in their area to meet their individual needs. In addition, professional organisers will be able to sign up and become a member of the association at the APDO stand.
Sian Pelleschi commented, “The Clean & Tidy Home Show is set to be a fantastic two days full of informative talks and demonstrations, bringing together a community of like-minded people and organisations. It is an honour to be attending the show, as an official partner, alongside other industry leaders, for the second year running.
“We strongly encourage anyone who is either thinking about enlisting the services of a professional organiser, or becoming one, to visit our stand and have all their questions answered. We look forward to making new connections, swapping ideas, and imparting our knowledge as the UK’s membership association for decluttering and organising professionals.”
APDO, the UK’s membership association for decluttering and organising professionals, sets standards, provides professional development and supports the growth of the industry. Founded in 2004, APDO is a non-profit organisation and belongs to a global community of professional organising associations which foster collaboration to advance the industry through sharing information and ideas.
