Rendall & Rittner appointed to manage major Croydon development
Leading property management firm Rendall & Rittner has been appointed to manage New South Quarter in Croydon, a residential development of over 800 apartments.
Providing a dedicated team to look after residents’ needs, Rendall & Rittner took over management services at the beginning of October. The development joins the company’s growing portfolio of over 80,000 homes under management nationwide.
New South Quarter is a contemporary urban village built by Barratt Homes conveniently located less than a mile from the centre of Croydon.
It offers a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as retail and commercial space that includes a daycare nursery and an indoor climbing centre. Rendall & Rittner takes over full management of the nine blocks, which consist of 668 private apartments, 148 affordable homes and the nine commercial units.
Michael Wareham, divisional director at Rendall & Rittner commented: “New South Quarter is a significant mixed-use development within the wider Croydon regeneration zone, and already an established community where we are proud to step into the role of property manager.
“We are committed to upholding the highest standards of service for residents, business holders and the wider community to ensure this is a place where they feel a sense of pride and enjoy spending time.”
Over the past ten years, New South Quarter has grown into a vibrant neighbourhood conveniently located in between West Croydon station and Waddon station, next to the green open spaces of Wandle Park.
Transport links also include Wandle Park tramline stop immediately opposite, making it a popular and attractive location for commuters. Barratt Homes was also instrumental in restoring the River Wandle which crosses the development, as part of the landscape-led regeneration of the area.
