Marcela wrote this book in memory of her beloved soulmate. It’s inspired by her own journey of healing, self-discovery, and reawakening after experiencing sudden and unexpected grief. Marcela’s hope is that the book, which has lots of practical insights and deep self-reflection questions, will empower readers, regardless of their identity or relationship status, to find the courage to release past pain and traumas. She invites them to embark on a journey of self-empowerment through self-awareness, ultimately strengthening not only their relationship with themselves but also, consequently, their ability to form meaningful connections, whether or not they have a partner.
Dr Mel Caudle, an American author and screenwriter describes the book: “Birthed from the pain of losing a soulmate, this book is not just a testament but an invitation: to courageously delve into the realms of vulnerability and sexuality, to embark on a journey of self-discovery, and, most importantly, to find the transformative power within to cultivate an intimate relationship with oneself. Marcela’s guidance isn’t rooted in abstract theory; it’s a powerful synthesis of personal experience and professional expertise. This isn’t just a read; it’s an intimate workbook, a hands-on guide to exploring, celebrating, and embracing every facet of yourself. With every page turned, you’re invited to liberate yourself from external judgments and dive deep into self-love, acceptance, and empowerment”
Marcela’s book has also made it into the hands of other powerful women recently, whom she met at the Brazil World Fashion Show at London Fashion Week. Queen Diambi Kabatusuila (who is the traditional queen of the Bakwa Luntu tribe of Central Kasaï in the historic Kingdom of Luba.[1],) and model, actress & businesswoman, Luiza Brunet LB both took the book and praised Marcela for her work.
Marcela said: “It’s fabulous to have the chance to spread my message across cultures. I feel humbled that they will have the opportunity to get to know my work as Author and Love and Transformational Healer.”
She added: “My book talks about the courage to connect with ourselves, of the importance of knowing who we truly are and our needs, desires, triggers, and also talks about healing from past pain and trauma. It also covers healthy and toxic relationships and how we can embrace a journey of self discovery, healing and growth. Embracing vulnerability, healing from within and finding our inner strength and resilience to overcome traumas and challenges are things that every single person, wherever they are in the world, can benefit from”.
