Ellie Roe, Mark Battersby, Lichfields
Thames Valley planning and development consultancy Lichfields has appointed two new Planners as it continues to see strong demand for its services and expands its operations.
Ellie Roe and Mark Battersby join the office as Planners based at the company’s Apex Plaza offices in Reading. Ellie Roe has relocated from the firm’s Cardiff office and will work on a number of public and private sector projects including advising on the development potential of sites, pursuing planning applications, preparing representations to emerging Local Plans and due diligence.
Having completed an MSc at the University of Reading, Mark Battersby will also be involved in similar work, supporting the senior team on a number of important projects across the Thames Valley area.
Both will be supported by Lichfields to be active members of ‘RG NextGen’, an ambitious group set up in summer 2023 to help a new generation of real estate professionals in the Thames Valley build a network and develop their skills and experience. Indeed, Caitlin Attrill, who joined Lichfields in the Reading office as a Planner in 2022, is a founding committee member.
Nick Kirby, planning director at the Thames Valley office, said: “We are committed to bringing on the next generation of planning talent to ensure that the business is equipped with the skills to meet future needs. Ellie and Mark will be great additions to the team, bringing added resource and depth to our services as we continue to grow off the back of a strong client base and diverse portfolio of work.”
