Unicorn Orange pipped for Amazon prize but new office signals growth
Unicorn Orange, the specialist Amazon agency, has announced a relocation and expansion of its current NottingHill HQ as it welcomes four new team members.
The news emerged the day after the agency was announced as a runner-up in the Amazon Ads Partner Awards at a glittering event in New York, where the team made the final 3 in the Performance Award category for EMEA.
On the night, they were heralded for their work with the sustainability focused mouth-care company Waken, who they have helped by freshening up their sales strategy.
By embracing custom audiences through the Amazon DSP and eye-catching creatives, Unicorn Orange successfully amplified consumers’ awareness of Waken’s products while boosting their returns.
However, when the founders (Ed and Sarah Sweet) return from the Big Apple, their new team members won’t have far to commute to find their new offices, as they have simply moved upstairs in the iconic Grand Union Studios building.
We’ve moved into a fantastic new space that reflects our vibrant culture and provides us with room to keep innovating, collaborating and expanding the team,’ explains Ed Sweet.
They are already unpacked in the new space and of course we had hoped to bring a trophy back to add to the new cabinet but we were up against some fantastic campaigns run by agencies that are considerably larger than ours. So to make the final 3 is pretty epic to be honest!
Ed, Sarah and the growing Unicorn Orange team count Proper Snacks, (the makers of PROPERCORN and PROPERCHIPS and Eat Real) WAKEN, RUDE HEALTH, BORDER BISCUITS, SURREAL, WILTON, MERCHANT GOURMET and FUSSY on the books of their NottingHill based agency.
Ed co-founded Unicorn Orange with his wife, former Amazon strategic vendor services manager, Sarah Sweet (who managed £40m+ revenue with the retailer).
Sarah concludes;
2023 has been a big year for us, not just in terms of recognition from major national and international awards such as these but also in terms of new clients and indeed our results for them.
In order to build on this momentum and serve them as well as we can we need highly skilled team members around us and with ex-Amazonians, ex-brand managers and ex-finance industry staff we have exactly that. Thankfully our new home means we can accommodate everyone nicely and there’s still room for more.
