Master Technician status achieved at Vertu Leeds Jaguar Land Rover
Vertu Leeds Jaguar Land Rover has celebrated the recent accomplishments of two of its colleagues, Joshua Belton and Stein Pieterson, who have become ‘Master Technicians’. This latest achievement brings the total number of Master Technicians at the dealership to five, showcasing Vertu Motors’ commitment to professional growth and expertise. Joshua Belton, 24, began his journey with the Vertu Motors group in 2014. Starting as an apprentice technician through the Jaguar Land Rover apprenticeship programme, Joshua’s growth trajectory has been remarkable. Notably, he passed his Level 4 JLR Master Technician accreditation with flying colours, achieving a perfect score in four out of the six modules. Stein Pieterson, 25, relocated from Swansea to Yorkshire when he got married and joined the Vertu Leeds Jaguar Land Rover family in February 2022. While new to the JLR world, his multi-franchise dealership experience proved invaluable. Demonstrating dedication and aptitude, Stein earned his Master Technician accreditation in just over a year, a feat rarely accomplished in such a short span of time. As with all Master Technicians, both are proficient in working on the new generation electric and hybrid vehicles. Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, commented on their achievements: “The dedication and determination exhibited by both Joshua and Stein are emblematic of our team’s commitment to excellence and the company’s dedication to training and career progression. “These accomplishments not only highlight their individual prowess but also underscore our overarching mission at Vertu to continuously push boundaries and set industry standards.” Vertu Leeds Jaguar Land Rover continues to invest in its team, with several other colleagues currently on the pathway to achieving their Master Technician accreditation.
