Harrogate’s White Horse Machinery Sees Substantial Growth in Far East

The Harrogate based company has seen tremendous growth in Asia’s Far East market.

Started by businessman Robin Vauvelle, White Horse Machinery or WHM for short has been and still is one of the world’s leading offset printing machinery suppliers since 1992. The company has been instrumental in helping establish infrastructure for countries which have seen a growing appetite for offset printing, mainly rapidly developing economies of South America and Asia, more specifically the Far East region.

The company which predominantly deals in large, industrial and commercial printing machinery that is used to print anything from high quality packaging to posters has dismantled, refurbished and installed an eight colour press from KBA, fitting the press in just over eighteen containers the project took several months to complete from start to finish, including logistics.

Robin Vauvelle, founder and managing director commented;

This is a testament to the quality of work we do, and will be a significant success story for our partner in the Far East to print packaging for leading global brands. We dismantled, refurbished and installed the press within few months, including the time it took for delivery. This is one of many projects, and is proof of the streamlined capabilities our sales, engineering, cleaning and logistics teams have. There is no project too big or too small.

The company which also has locations in Miami, Florida and Sydney, Australia has been a monumental showcase of post COVID-19 growth and had been one of the few businesses continuously helping the North Yorkshire town of Harrogate thrive during the pandemic due to its size and capabilities.

Just year prior, it was responsible for organizing an initiative to collect, package and transport aid to war torn Ukraine thanks to its logistics capabilities, with residents from Harrogate and surrounding areas volunteering to sort goods and drop off donations. The initiative was started by Whitney Vauvelle, wife of managing director, Robin Vauvelle who has been an instrumental voice in showcasing Harrogate as a community of likeminded altruistic residents.

White Horse Machinery continues its substantial growth, specializing in every facet of printing, providing peace of mind to partners and clients who may not have the knowledge or expertise required to source, negotiate, dismantle, refurbish and transport heavyweight industrial equipment from historical brands such as German Heidelberg or Japanese Komori.
