Currie Young welcomes two new senior members of staff and looks for further expansion in South Staffordshire and the East Midlands
An expanding insolvency practice has welcomed two new senior staff members to its experienced team.
Nicki Meadows joins Currie Young as an Insolvency Practitioner and Tracey O’Hare takes the role of Senior Manager.
The duo will work across the company’s three offices with Nicki primarily working in the East Midlands and South Staffordshire regions, having been previously based in Derby.
The new appointments follow the recent recruitment of Nicola Harrop as Head of Business Development.
Established in 2015, Currie Young recently expanded from its Newcastle-under-Lyme base to open offices in Lichfield and the West Midlands.
Nicki, who lives in Barton Under Needwood, East Staffordshire, comes to Currie Young from a director’s post at DBR Restructuring, which until recently was known as Dains Business Recovery. Nicki began her career in 1994 and is a qualified accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner.
She achieved Partner status with her former employer in 2004, and later became a director in its business recovery company.
Nicki said: “The Currie Young team is growing on the back of the company’s reputation as a proactive practice with a track record of saving or selling on businesses, saving jobs, and allowing those owed money to get a return. I’m excited with the opportunity to join a specialist insolvency practice and being a part of their next chapter of growth.”
Tracey has worked in the insolvency field since 1985, having begun her career with the Official Receiver’s Office. She has held the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) qualification since 2005.
She is skilled in offering the highest level of client service and experienced in all aspects of insolvency and business recovery.
Director Steve Currie said: “I’m delighted to be able to welcome Nicki and Tracey to our team. We’ve grown with a strategy of taking on proven finance and insolvency professionals with the knowledge to provide the highest level of support and customer service. Nicki and Tracey add to that, joining us with a wealth of experience in the sector.”
