Leeds manufacturer announces team expansion with biggest apprentice intake yet

Leeds based ACS Stainless Steel Limited has welcomed its largest intake of apprentices to date, expanding its team with eight new colleagues.

The appointments at the manufacturing business based in Cross Green include Usman Saeed, as apprentice software engineer and Rachel Flannery, who joins as an accounts apprentice, alongside Harvey Knowles, Luke Dundas, Rohaan Waajid, Harrison Nicholls, Lewis Thompson, and Pedro Gala, as apprentice technical engineers.

Renowned for supporting home-grown talent, the latest ACS cohort hail from Leeds College of Building, with Bradford-born Usman recruited from Roehampton university and Rachel is undertaking her Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with Intec Business College.

The talented new graduates are to be mentored by Simon Matthews, Operations Director at ACS who commented: “We’re a forward-thinking business and embrace those who are looking to begin their career within this industry.
