Crest Nicholson acquires land for 141 new homes in Suffolk

Local housebuilder Crest Nicholson has announced it has acquired new land as part of its Kings Warren development in Red Lodge, within the heart of the Suffolk countryside. The 14-acre site will deliver 141 high quality new homes to the area, 30 per cent of which will be affordable.

With a range of two to four bedroom new homes available, there’s something to suit a variety of purchasers, from first time buyers to growing families looking to upsize as well as downsizers. Work is anticipated to start in November 2023, with residents expected to be welcomed from May 2024.

Residents at Kings Warren will be able to benefit from the balance of town and countryside living, with the new development offering plenty of green open space and a designated woodland area, education facilities, as well as a library, as the housebuilder continues to invest in the local community.

Local towns like Bury St Edmonds are easily accessible through great transport links, ideally positioned for access into local places of work and shopping. Kennett train station is also under three miles away and offers direct links to Cambridge in less than 30 minutes and onwards connections to London.

Karen Coulson, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, comments: “We’re pleased to announce this acquisition in Suffolk, enabling us to respond to local demand for high quality new homes in the area.

“Kings Warren is already a thriving community and a popular area thanks to the range of amenities that are easily accessible within the wider Red Lodge development, including a primary school, sports pavilion, and allotments.

“Interest at Kings Warren has been high from both locals and those from further afield. We’d therefore recommend anyone interested to get in touch with our friendly sales team as soon as possible, to be the first to secure your dream home.”
