First waterfront apartments completed in the ‘Royal Docks’ Regeneration Zone

Property developers Ballymore and Oxley have announced the completion of the first apartments at Riverscape, an ‘exciting’ waterfront development in the Royal Docks, with over 90 residents set to move in this month.

Home to 749 new one, two and three-bedroom apartments with views of the Thames, Canary Wharf and the surrounding parkland, Riverscape is described by the developers as “perfectly placed to offer an idyllic lifestyle, excellently connected to the capital”.

The Leonard is the first of 10 buildings to complete, and the new residents will enjoy a host of premium facilities and amenities, including a 24-hour concierge service, a dedicated estate management team, and a bespoke app for ‘lifestyle management’.

They will also enjoy access to The Sky Lounge from Spring 2024, a private resident-only space for co-working, relaxing and entertaining, with seating areas and a fully equipped communal kitchen for hosting gatherings.

Automatic membership to The Clubhouse at Ballymore’s neighbouring development Royal Wharf includes access to a 25m-swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and ‘state-of-the-art’ gym, while the community is home to the onsite Royal Wharf Primary Academy school, the Nest day nursery, and Macaroni Penguin soft play and learning centre.

An active retail district, the high street at Royal Wharf also includes a GP, dentist and pub, and offers regular farmers’ markets and community events.

Riverscape also features key transport links on the doorstep, including two DLR stations (West Silvertown and Pontoon Dock) just moments away and the Elizabeth Line at Custom House accessible by a short walk. The award-winning Royal Wharf Pier provides connectivity via water, serviced regularly by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.
