JD submits planning application to move into Westmorland Retail Park in Cramlington
Major sports retailer JD has submitted a planning application earlier this month to Northumberland County Council to take over the former 10,000 sq. ft B&M unit at Westmorland Retail Park in Cramlington.
Westmorland Retail Park houses TK Maxx, Next, Dunelm, M&S Foodhall and Pets at Home. It is also home to the only multiplex VUE cinema in the county and has a wide variety of modern dining choices on offer such as Sambucas, Nando’s and Burger King.
The proposed shop fit shows full glazing to the front of the store with suspending LED screens and JD branding throughout.
Earlier this year, the retailer said it was looking to open 10 retail park stores a year as part of wider growth plans.
Westmorland Retail Park is owned by Advance Northumberland who are a well-established and highly regarded landlord offering a wide range of retail properties in Northumberland.
