Aruba presents Certified Platform, to digitise business processes through the integrated use of trust services
Aruba S.p.A. - the main Italian provider of cloud services and the leader in Italy for data centre services, cloud, hosting, trust services, e-mail, PEC (certified emails), domain registration and digital signatures - announces Certified Platform. The platform is natively integrated with all trust services, including digital signature, time stamp, PEC and legal compliance storage, which digitises business processes and automates their execution, using the highest security standards and fully compliant with European regulations.
Digital transformation requires an integrated approach involving the redefinition of business models, the revision of business processes, and a change in organisational culture. In this context, trust services, such as the PEC and digital signature, play a fundamental role since they grant the necessary legal validity to the documents and build the digital trust which businesses can base a successful digital future on. Because of this, Aruba, a certification authority and qualified trust service provider, has developed the Certified Platform solution. The solution redefines the approach to trust services meaning they are no longer considered individual stand-alone solutions and are now part of a unified ecosystem on a single platform.
In fact, Certified Platform represents a new way of creating trust services by making the most of cloud technology. For example, the solution supports the operations and activities of decentralised teams without sacrificing the legal robustness and non-repudiation of managed documents, and promoting the sharing of these in a secure and regulated space. This new approach allows users to look at the process as a whole, eliminating technological complexity and offering a complete and effective user experience that is reliable and secure.
Business process re-engineering can, in this context, become a pillar of an organisation’s digital transition strategy, thanks to the support of Aruba as a strategic partner. Certified Platform, in fact, makes it possible to digitise company procedures, optimising document management. This applies to multiple organisational realities, in any market segment. Multiple sectors can benefit from this solution including banking and insurance, energy and utilities, professional orders, production and manufacturing, public administration, retail, healthcare and pharmaceutical, telecommunications and media, and transport and logistics.
Officially previewed today, with integrated digital signature and preservation services, the platform will allow all trust services to be used in an integrated manner when fully deployed. This means it will be possible to build an automated flow involving all trust services to enable more efficient and secure business processes. Businesses will be able to, manually or automatically, archive documents on a cloud space, sign and time-stamp documents without the use of clients, send documents for preservation and create distribution packages without accessing the relevant panel, and create manual and automatic document approval and signature workflows.
Here are some more detailed use cases:
Digital signature and time stamping- Certified Platform allows you to manage approval and signature flows addressed to corporate groups which can also involve external actors if needed. Ad-hoc flows can be created to sign documents in series or in parallel with different types of signatures and actors, maintaining complete control and immediate availability of the signed documents.
Legal digital preservation - The sending of documents for preservation can be arranged by following the flows linked to the services integrated in the platform. For example, a document can be sent for preservation after it has been digitally signed, in the same way the attachments of a PEC message can be sent for preservation after it has been received, without having to access the system.
Certified e-mail- With Certified Platform, automatic monitoring flows based on filter rules can be easily configured for handling messages containing attachments received from all company PEC boxes, without accessing webmail.
Document management - Following the upload of documents to a specific folder in Certified Platform, integration flows can be initiated with all trust services, simplifying complex steps and making business processes more efficient.
The different functions of the platform guarantee full control at the same time. All components of the platform are, in fact, developed exclusively by Aruba which ensures more efficient management and reduced intervention times. Each component is also realised and hosted on data centres owned by the company, located in Italy.
“We are excited to present Certified Platform, an innovative and secure solution for the digitalisation of business processes through automated flows, which integrates all trust services in a cloud environment, in full compliance with European regulations,” commented Fabrizio Garrone, Enterprise Solution Director of Aruba. “Certified Platform, with its integrated and automated approach to trust services, revolutionises the effectiveness of internal processes, involving the various functions, such as management, administration, sales, technical departments, purchasing, quality control and human resources. This is an important step towards using these services from a Platform as a Service perspective, with an integrated use that is no longer part of a legal obligation but an vital tool in the digitisation process.”
