Kidderminster hotel scoops best wedding venue award for second year running

A Kidderminster hotel is celebrating after being named as the best hotel wedding venue in the West Midlands – for the second year running.

Brockencote Hall Hotel won ‘Wedding Venue Hotel of the Year’ at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2023 at a glitzy awards ceremony at Edgbaston Park Hotel.

The hotel, which is based off the A448/Kidderminster Road in Chaddesley Corbett, will now represent the West Midlands in the national finals in a bid to take the UK crown at the Underglobe in London on January 24.

Staci Williams, wedding and events manager, said: “To be named wedding venue hotel of the year in the West Midlands once is a fantastic feeling, but to win it twice in a row is such an incredible achievement and one we do not take for granted.

“Not only are these awards the most prestigious in our industry, but they are also based on genuine feedback from couples who have married here, which makes this even more special.”

General Manager Jack Hartshorne added: “It is a real team effort from everyone here at Brockencote Hall to make sure couples and their loved ones enjoy the perfect day – whether it’s our dedicated wedding and events staff, our award-winning kitchen team, to our trusted local suppliers – so this award is something we are all really proud of.”

Brockencote Hall Hotel is a Victorian country manor house hotel which is set within 70 acres of beautiful parkland, offering a grand approach, French-inspired architecture, and beautiful features such as its lovingly restored dovecote and a scenic lake which has made it a popular backdrop for weddings in rural Worcestershire.

Part of The Eden Hotel Collection, it offers 21 bedrooms in the main manor house alongside a three-bedroom lodge, and has won a host of awards including 4 AA red stars for the levels of comfort and hospitality, as well as 3 AA Rosettes for its outstanding cuisine at the Chaddesley Restaurant.

The hotel is hosting its final wedding open evening of the year on Tuesday, December 12 between 4pm and 8pm, for couples looking to book a wedding in 2024 and 2025.
