Logistics firm moves into West Point Row, Bristol
The National Offices team at Colliers Bristol has secured Groupe CAT as the newest tenant at West Point Row, a modern office property in Bradley Stoke, Bristol. Colliers acted on behalf of the landlord Southdowns Westpoint Row Limited jointly with local agent Burston Cook.
The French firm has signed a new five-year lease on 4,574 sq ft at Unit 2. Groupe CAT are an international automotive firm with more than 30 years’ experience in the UK market. They specialise in cargo and vehicle logistic services to manufacturers.
West Point Row provides open plan, high quality office space across five units in total, with facilities including bike storage, a kitchenette, and showers. Recent strong interest has not only resulted in this transaction but also the first floor of Unit 5 being placed under offer, as well as several parties viewing the first floor of Unit 3 (which is the last available office).
James Preece, director in the National Offices team at Colliers Bristol, commented: “West Point Row is well located just off Great Park Road in the Bradley Stoke area which gives it excellent access to the M4/M5 interchange. We are pleased to have secured Groupe CAT as the latest tenant at the business park and look forward to announcing new occupiers in the near future.”
Tom Parry CFO UK at Groupe CAT added: “Groupe CAT is very excited about locating its new UK head office in the Bradley Stoke area. This serves as a great base for recruitment and retention of staff as the offices are bright and welcoming, with a good offering of parking. Being a logistics company it suits us being on two of the main motorways of the UK: the M4 and M5 with great access north and south, east and west.”
