Elevate completes £50m Nottingham city centre regeneration project

A four-year, £50m city centre regeneration project has completed in Nottingham, delivering more than 150 riverside homes.

Elevate Property Group’s Trent Bridge Quays scheme has been a catalyst for the redevelopment of the western end of the Waterside Regeneration Zone in the city. The scheme has delivered 98 homes as part of the first phase flanking the River Trent and 58 homes on the second phase on the nearby Muller’s Yard, off Meadow Lane - all now complete.

The second and final phase saw 44 apartments and 14 townhouses recently completed, providing much needed housing in the city centre and represents an £18m investment by Elevate Property Group.

James Costello, managing director, said the four-year phased project had delivered a high-quality housing scheme for the Waterside Regeneration Zone, which covers 250 acres south-east of Nottingham City Centre.

“This was our first development in the East Midlands and has been a fantastic project to work on.

“The development stands on the site of a former dairy plant, so there have been challenges along the way but we’re completing on a scheme which is not only delivering housing but also offers 5,000 sq ft of high-quality commercial space.”

David Hofton, sales director at Elevate added: “Demand for riverside living in the city centre and all the commercial, leisure and entertainment benefits that brings, not to mention close proximity to Nottingham Forest and Notts County football clubs as well as the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground means the location is perfect for a variety of different buyers.

“This was evident when the first phase completely sold out. The second phase is proving to be popular as well and is already over 40 per cent sold.

“There remains a great selection of completed apartments and townhouses to view, in addition to two furnished show homes and a marketing suite manned by local selling agents William H Brown.”

The second phase was designed by Leamington Spa based Rickett Architects’ and constructed by Leicester based Bode Contracting

“Successful schemes depend on excellent working relationships and we’re grateful to have had the expertise of contractors Bode Contracting and architects Rickett on the project,” continued James.

“Business investment is currently very strong in the East Midlands and developments like Trent Bridge Quays are only contributing to this.”

Elevate Property Group is also currently on site at the Silk Yard in Derby, where it is developing 258 apartments, with the first phase planned for completion in summer 2024.

Prices for available apartments start at £200,000 for one-bedroom apartments and £250,000 two-beds. Townhouses are also on sale starting from £400,000
