Malcolm Hanson appointed as care home manager at Kenton Hall, Newcastle

Malcolm Hanson has been appointed as the new care home manager at Kenton Hall care home in Newcastle. With 17 years of management experience and a career spanning 33 years in the NHS and health and social care, Malcolm is well-equipped to lead Kenton Hall into a new era of excellence. Prior to this appointment, Malcolm managed sister home, Craigielea care home in Gateshead, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality care and operational efficiency. As a Registered General Nurse for 20 years, his expertise and compassionate approach are key assets in meeting the diverse needs of residents. Kenton Hall offers modern, purpose-built facilities, with 60 spacious en-suite bedrooms, open-plan communal areas, a spa room, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The home provides comprehensive residential, nursing, palliative, and respite care to both private and local authority-funded residents.
