Global Health Tech Pioneers Appoint Award-Winning PR Agency in Commitment to Regional Tech Growth
Rem3dy Health, the global health tech innovators behind the world’s first fully customised nutrition product, Nourished, have chosen Birmingham-based EAST VILLAGE. as their retained PR agency. This appointment highlights Rem3dy Health’s commitment to amplifying the West Midlands’ tech sector, as the experienced and multi award-winning agency furthers the brand’s global reach.
Launched in 2019 with just five employees, Rem3dy Health has quickly become one of the UK’s brightest HealthTech scale-ups thanks to a raft of proprietary technology. Now employing over 220 people, its revolutionary 3D-printing methods and patented encapsulation formula, creates unique nutrient stacks designed to tackle a host of health and wellbeing concerns, highlighted by the customer in an AI-powered survey.
Choosing to appoint EAST VILLAGE., the reputable Birmingham agency whose impressive list of clients includes Tech West Midlands (and the premier Birmingham Tech Week event), Made in Britain, and STEAMhouse Birmingham; the two organisations are uniting to continue to strengthen the region’s reputation as a growing global tech superpower.
The exciting partnership comes after a flurry of business wins for Rem3dy Health, including its recent expansion into France and Italy, thanks to a successful period of growth and investment from heritage pharmaceutical enterprise, UPSA.
Melissa Snover, CEO and Founder of Rem3dy Health, comments:
“When searching for our new retained PR agency, it was important to find a business that could support our ambitious growth plans whilst also understanding the importance of the West Midlands as part of our journey. We were founded in the region, remain headquartered here, and are passionate advocates for the local tech ecosystem which we consider to be the most sophisticated and innovative in the UK.
EAST VILLAGE. ticks all of those boxes for us. They, too, share our passion for the region and are at the heart of the tech scene here, so truly understand the importance of PR in making the West Midlands a global tech hub. We’re excited to continue our international strategy with the team: taking Nourished to new markets, whilst also placing a spotlight on our hometown.“
The deal is one of a number of client wins for the PR agency, after it announced a niche down to focus on lifestyle tech brands last year, in line with its 10th anniversary. The agency has also welcomed another regional HealthTech pioneer to its roster, after being retained by Medmin, one of the first recipients of the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund last year. EAST VILLAGE. will launch and lead comms for Get Well Soon, a new platform that aims to democratise self-pay private healthcare.
Tara Attfield-Tomes, Founder and Managing Director of EAST VILLAGE., adds:
“We’re on a mission to cement our reputation for partnering with innovative and disruptive brands in the tech space, and landing both Rem3dy Health and Medmin as clients sets the tone for our ambitions this year. Having built on our existing client base in the space, we’re perfectly positioned to show that PR is about so much more than column inches. When done right, it has the power to truly change the landscape for founders – helping them to access more funding, better support, and ultimately grow beyond their wildest ambitions.
The region is on an extremely exciting journey to global tech status – fuelled by pioneers like Melissa and driven by organisations like TechWM and STEAMhouse, who are feeding the ecosystem. We’re so excited to be working alongside such incredible organisations who are led by people truly dedicated to making this region a global superpower.“
