New Space Architecture acquires 16a Architecture pursuing continued growth
New Space Architecture, a leading architectural firm known for its innovative and award-winning designs, is excited to announce its recent acquisition of 16a Architecture. This strategic move marks a significant step in New Space Architecture’s growth and commitment to delivering exceptional architectural solutions across the UK.
Established in 2005 as Ennerji Projects by Vaughn Allington, 16a Architecture underwent a rebrand in 2016, setting the stage for its evolution into a prominent architectural practice.
Based in Topsham, Vaughn Allington, Founding Director and Zac May, Design Technician will join New Space Architecture this month, bringing a wealth of experience and creativity to the team as well as an impressive portfolio of super homes and commercial developments.
New Space Architecture, founded in 2016 by Mitch Temple, has established itself as a prominent player in the architectural landscape. Renowned for its outstanding work, the firm has garnered acclaim both locally and nationally, having recently been selected as a regional South West winner for the LABC Best Partnership with a Local Authority Building Control Team Award for a second year running.
Notable projects include collaborations with Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club, a project which has recently been completed, Exmouth Boxing Club, and the ‘Gather’ Bistro in Scotland. The firm has also made a mark in the domestic sector, specialising in Class Q approval, with a current 100 per cent success rate, house remodels, and extensions.
